We do a few monitors of this kind with cacti server using this template that works with a perl script

It uses an snmp write community on the router and tells it to ping another remote device, the results are saved in RRD and you can make a graph out of it.

i want to be able to graph the packet loss between 2 routers or even between a router and a remote site
as well as BER or delay , can i do that ?
what is the best method to calculate this ?
