Have you enabled "mls qos" globally? Are you doing "mls qos trust dscp" on
the interface?
"mls qos" should be on to do what you want, mls qos trust dscp needs to be
not there, otherwise the 6500 won't change anything (trust dscp means just
pass it as it is).
Also, if you do "mls qos" the default is also to zero all DSCP information
on inbound packets, so it changes quite a lot in your equipment.
Also, I've seen a 7600 not do any remarking even though it should, but
this was with multicast traffic...
