[c-nsp] ACE File System

Answering my own questions.

The ACE has an 1 GB CF. This CF has two Linux partitions:

Disk /dev/sdb: 1024 MB, 1024966656 bytes
16 heads, 63 sectors/track, 1986 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 1008 * 512 = 516096 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x00000000

   Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks   Id  System
/dev/sdb1               1         249      125464+  83  Linux
/dev/sdb2             250        1986      875448   83  Linux


In the first partition there are these files:

ACE_APPLIANCE_RECOVERY_IMAGE.bin

-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root        7 2010-12-03 06:50 reload_reason

And in the second these files:

This partition includes 5 compressed file systems:

TN-CERTKEY-STORAGE, TN-CONFIG, TN-COREFILE, TN-HOME, TN-LOGFILE

You can mount them with "mount -o loop compressed_filename mount_point"

I searched a lot and didn't find this "debug plug-in" module anywhere. But I
found this reference:

switch/Admin# load image:waszi-vs-ace.tar.gz

  Warning: debug-plugin is for engineering internal use only!
  For security reason, plugin image has been deleted.
###############################################################

So it exists, the question is where ??? It's just for my lab :)

Hello group,

I'm curious about the ACE file system and I found this on the Cisco Live
presentation BRKAPP-3003:

"Load debug plug-in to access ACE file system"

Is this plug-in available somewhere ? What's the procedure in order to load
it ? I see there's one "load" command available:

load        Load plug-in image

I always found the ACE file system really obscure but it seems there's a
tool to help us.
