Sounds like you need to wait a bit.  Talk to you Cisco account team regarding the support for FEXs landing on the 7K.

I know it was a rumored feature as many customers have been requesting it.

I need 8 x 48 ports, and I do not want to use 4 modules at my
Distribution/Core switches for this purpose. Also, this will bring a lot of
cable complexity

2 supervisors, X fabrics, 2 10GbE
