Twice the bit count:
code ran faster than data
in a race to spring.

In a non-attempt-at-haiku form - the code was ready a bit earlier, and the 
folks made a decision to release it for the 64-bit testing immediately 
rather than holding off. Please give it a week or two for the notes :-)
