You never answered (several) questions people asked you:

which version of IOS

what does the config look like *before* it is lost

after a "wr mem" are the startup-config and running-config identical?

what does the config look like *after* a reload

what appears in the logs & on the console during reload (usually you 
will see the invalid commands)

TBH this sounds like a bug you need to pursue with TAC.
