[c-nsp] No CER support for Catalyst S & X series

I received this from my account team last week:

"The Cisco Account teams just became aware that the Cisco S & X series switches are not supported by the Cisco Emergency Responder application. An update to the CER software is being worked on for this, but it is not anticipated to make the next release of CER scheduled for later this calendar year. Most likely, you would not see the update until sometime mid-2011."

Was I the only person who bought some 2960S POE switches this summer and had the crazy idea to plug some Cisco IP Phones into them?  Last year when I bought some 2960G's there was a little software cop file that I applied to CER to recognize those switches.  Anyone going through this or have any info?
