[c-nsp] Help with Cisco 3845 with NME-XD-48ES-2S-P

I am trying to configure this 3845 with NME-XD-48ES-2S-P:
when i do "sho ver" i see the extra SFP port but when i do "sho ip int
brief" i don't see none of the other ports.
the router is seing the card because when i do "sho invent" the card shows
i try to put the configuration "service-module Gigabit Ethernet port 1/0/3"
that doen't work either and that's the only thinf i can find in the Cisco
manual.  Please any help would greatly appreciate.
