[c-nsp] 3750E 12.2(53)SE2 swallows blank lines for banner motd

Good day,

I just started to finish configuration of a new 3750E-24TS-S running
12.2(53)SE2 IP Base software. Normally, we configure motd banners like
this:

banner motd #
   This is __switchname__

   Blabla

   Unauthorized .
#

It seems, that this switch ignores blank lines as it results in:

banner motd#
   This is __switchname__
   Blabla
   Unauthorized .
#

Anyone with a similar experience?
