Hello,
someone should be concerned in new, quite silent change on the Cisco
portal planned for upcoming days. For Partner Initiated Customer Access
(PICA) users, there will be removed software access over the web.
This change should start at March 8, 2010 - Cisco will remove software
access from end customer users who do not have contracts directly with
Cisco. Users who have software contracts filled in their profile should
not be affected, but probably can expect with software access - as this
is common experience with any major change on the portal during the past.
There was no direct notification from Cisco to the end users, even they
have contact emails in their database available for all PICA users. Only
some of Cisco partners has been notified directly.
This seems to be another way, how Cisco demonstrates it's
contemptuousness with customers. Avoiding proper customer notifications
in advance isn't serious at all.
Regards,
Maciej
