I am not sure I understand what you are saying is not recommended - dual
connected FEXes ?
Sure they are supported and recommended, their use is the first vPC option
shown on page 98 of the 4.2(1)N1(1) Layer 2 Switching Conf Guide and it is
essentially the same as in the past 3 revs.
