[c-nsp] CPP and MAC address population

Odd question, but there's a reason for it, I assure you...

On the 6500/Sup720 platform, will an ethernet frame that is dropped due to hitting a control-plane policer rule (or an inbound policer, or inbound access list, ...) still cause its source MAC address to be entered into the switch's MAC address table? Or will the fact that the frame is dropped prevent the MAC table population from taking place?

Thanks,

-C
