What IOS? What's the SNMP configuration of the device? How do you query
the device? Any SNMP views to limit access?

I don't have any problems with a 2512 running c2500-i-l.120-28d.bin and
a 2503 running c2500-i-l.121-27b.bin.

With just the "snmp-server community test" command entered, I can:
