Tim,
Yes, in order to create the new command you had in mind, we need some
string parsing capabilities we do not have in SXI...
Let's wait a bit, and try again...

Gotcha. I think I'm going to need this functionality for what I have in
mind:
Administratively disable: "switchport trunk allowed vlan <range>" and
create a replacement command: "switchport trunk allowed vlan range
<range>"
Does that sound about right?
