[c-nsp] How to run a scheduled script to grab interface stats

For quick and dirty interface statistics I've always used cacti.  I like
graphs though. The data is averaged over time so you won't have point in
time snapshots if that's what you need exactly.  For automated commands and
even config backup I hear RANCID works pretty well, but I've never used it
personally.
