Hello,

I've got an issue which I can't seem to analyse.

I've got 4 6509's setup in a square. Divided over two sites.

------- -------
| SW1 | ----L2-2 other site with 10Gbase-ZR-----| SW1 |
------- -------
   | <10Gbase-SR | <10Gbase-SR
------- -------
| SW2 | -----L2-2 other site with 10Gbase-ZR-----| SW 2
------- -------
  |-----------L3----10GbaseSR over Adva CWDM---------|

I tried to replace the secondary link between the SW2's with another provider connectet with an Adva CWDM device.
I tested tested the modules on layer three as drwan above.
All worked well incl cdp etc etc

------- -------
| SW1 | ----L2-2 other site with 10Gbase-ZR-----| SW1 |
------- -------
   | <10Gbase-SR | <10Gbase-SR
------- -------
| SW2 | ------L2----10GbaseSR over Adva CWDM ---| SW 2
------- -------

After doing this I got the following problem:
Links comes up....
HSRP and STP do their job.
And after 1 minute orso everything stops.. OSPF seems to be working like crazy.
And I get the following error from the switch on the left site:

1134: Nov 30 19:49:04.862: %SYS-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation of 120 bytes failed from 0x0, alignment 32

When after this I replace the SR modules back to the zr modules averything works perfectly.

Replaces it again with sr> it goes wrong
Replace it back with ZR it works.

Fyi I run the modules directly from the supervisor.

On the left I run ios (s72033_rp-IPSERVICESK9_WAN-VM), Version 12.2(33)SXH2a,
on the right I run ios (s72033_rp-IPSERVICESK9_WAN-M), Version 12.2(33)SXI3,

Why does it work with ZR and not with SR?
Any tips are welcome

Gr Dirk
