Of course, you can fix this problem by running expanded 
loose hops to build the LSP. It is cumbersome, especially if 
you're trying to build protection/multiple LSP's between 
end-points, but will work in a multi-area/multi-level IGP 
deployment.

Juniper are even able to automate this (no need to specify 
the LSR's in the path) provided CSPF remains enabled 
(applies to OSPF, still checking on IS-IS).
