Theses are very different products. The NME one are a full switch with all the functionalities of an external switch. One notable difference is the number of supported VLANs : depending of the supporting router, 16 to 64 for the NM-16ESW and 1024 for the NME. The NME-16ESW-1G is in fact like a 3750 embedded into the router.
