It's called "LST (Link State Tracking)" in FN and according to this it's
only supported on the 4500/49xx. But that's FN of course. :-)

Configuration guides also point at support in Catalyst 3k (+ 2960 and
2970) and some ME-models. The "Cisco Catalyst Switch Guide"[0] says
something similar.

Practical testing on a few switches: Supported in at least 2960, 3560
and 3750 models (including -E) on 12.2(50)SE and newer and CBS3012
(bladecenter) on 12.2(40)EX2 and newer. It does not seem to be supported
on the 6500 SXF or SXI.
