Wow.  Nevermind.  I failed at basic math.  Its ~4k per VPN route.  Still, that 
adds up quick.  I think if you plan on using an ASR 1k as a PE and you have over 
250k VPNv4 routes then you should go with an RP2 and 8GB of RAM just to be 
safe..  RP1 takes a *long* time to load 200k+ routes.

testing IOS-XE in lab.  versions 3.1.4a and 3.4.0a.

we're seeing each VPNv4  route consume about 3.75mb of memory.on the RP.

please tell me this is a joke.
