Hi all,

For one of our customer, we'v a Cisco Catalyst 2950 located in their
premises, through this switch we deliver an internet access as well as a
voice service.

The switch has a really basic cfg: 3 ports connected, 1 trunk and 1 port per
service.

>From time to time, the switch freezes completely (all services down, switch
unreachable).

Obviously, we already swapped the switch several times, check the logs,
errors counters . and nothing solved our issue.

Even more weird, this morning we saw a traffic spike at 50mbps (services are
4mbps and 1mbps) on every ports while they are inside separated VLAN (so
even an L2 loop shouldn't do this).

We suspect a physical issue in the customer environment but we got no
evidence of this.

So, I would like to get opinions on how to troubleshoot this.

I don't know if there is any chassis debugging on a Catalyst switch (power
issues) or any experience someone could share?

Thanks for your help J
