You might also like to check out: http://code.google.com/p/logstash/ -
its design follows a pipe paradigm which leads to it being highly
intuitive and flexible. The web interface isn't as point and clickey
as others but imo, that's not a bad thing.
It would be nice if it could take SNMP traps as an input too, but I
guess currently lacking as SNMP isn't Simple.
