Yes, that's exactly what I tried out.

hw-module slot 1 tcam carve RX_TOP_NF 25
hw-module slot 1 tcam carve RX_IPv6_144b_REGION 128 14

But if I look into TCAM usage I see no difference/improvement except as
for the RX_IPv6_128 region:
