My understanding was that warm-reload was primarily available on 
CPU-based, non-distributed platforms and therefore traffic forwarding 
stops - you are after all reloading the entire (monolithic) IOS image.

Having said that, I've never used the feature, because it's not 
available on platforms we find "interesting".
