Are you using the FWSM in a transparent setup where you do routing on the supervisor or are you running the FWSM in routed mode?

We use FWSM on 6500 it Works great, however its nearing end of life (Cisco is working on new blade, but I couldn't get timeline fort hat one).
Ipv6 is handled by CPU and there is no failover support for ipv6.
