How about "advertise passive-only" and only put the loopbacks into ISIS at all?  Another possibility would be making L2 area boundaries between BB routers at some obvious regional divides - this would depend on how your BB-BB topology was built, but if it's some sort of partial mesh, then you should be able to figure out some good boundaries.
