Always keep in mind that this is a *Switch* with routing intelligence
bolted on. There's only a single global "vlan 300" - but you can have
two different ports in it (gi2/1 and gi2/2 set to "switchport trunk" with
vlan 300 allowed on the trunk).
Subinterfaces are really just a special case of "a trunk port plus the
corresponding 'interface VLAN x' interfaces" (except for MUX-UNI, which
the Sup2 doesn't do) (and except for WAN cards).
