Yes, tedious isn't it? Quite why the various election/master protocols 
on IOS aren't FHRP aware I don't know - it's probably "too hard", after 
all, Cisco are only a small company...

If you don't have the "ip pim dr-priority" command, your only real 
option is to flip the IP addresses around :o(

FWIW it's there under 6500/12.2(33)SXI - so at least some 12.2S releases 
have it.
