Hi,

you should make sure you have guaranteed bandwidth and as less latency
as possible. Otherwise the connection will be flaky and you don't want
that.
The TCP stack in iSCSI will take care of the usual retransmissions and
other stuff, but the OSes that run on top of it will not be very happy
and you might get timeouts on the block level and make the whole disk
inaccessible to the applications and this is not something you want to
deal with.
