hi list,

i want to force ipv6 stateful address configuration with dhcpv6.
therefor i want to disable router advertisements on a cat6500.
in interface config are some commands which are confusing for me to find
out what they do and what the difference of them is.
maybe someone can explain….

ipv6 nd prefix globalunicastprefix/64 no-advertise
ipv6 nd prefix default no-advertise whats the difference to above command?
ipv6 nd prefix default 3600 3600 no-autoconfig if i specify lifetimes there is no-autoconfig at the end instead of no-advertise from line above?
ipv6 nd ra suppress altogether?

thanks,chris
