The question still remains as to what you are looking for a third party to
do for you in this situation. If vendor support is important to you, it
might be worth getting an E chassis (not that expensive) and taking the
outage to replace the chassis. It just sounds like you're at risk of
painting yourself into a corner by not doing that.
