Yes and you can add a RR function to that as well -but I wouldn't use it
like that outside the LAB -and not even there as it will mask some of the
issues you'll face when using separate box for each function and will
introduce a new set off issues resulting from combining all these function
into single box
The only thing I believe is not supported on XR is ASBR node for Inter-AS
MPLS TE -would love to learn otherwise

Subject: [c-nsp] ASR 9000 inter- AS MPLS

Hi,

Anybody knows if it is possible to enable on one ASR9k machine
3 functions as P, PE and ASBR router in inter-AS MPLS topology ?
For local core - P and PE is working but is it albo possible to exchange
routing and labels with other AS using EBGP.

Then we mix local services ( VPN ) with others ?

Best Regards,
grzybek
