>From what I've understood in the grand scheme of things... security can come in two forms
1) bundled security router (direct from cisco)
2) ip base router + right to use security license (temporary or perpetual)

In the first case you get
Index 2 Feature: securityk9
        Period left: Life time
        License Type: Permanent
        License State: Active, In Use
        License Count: Non-Counted
        License Priority: Medium

In the second case what you have.

Since the distributor "preinstalled the license" it seems to be an ipbase router with perpetual right to use security.
