Hi ,
I'm testing Ethernet CFM ,after the fault restored the link still down
until i remove the CFM configuration :

RP/0/1/CPU0:12K-1#show int gigabitEthernet 0/2/0/0
Wed Aug 28 11:58:45.240 UTC
GigabitEthernet0/2/0/0 is up, line protocol is down

12k - IOS XR 4.3 with SDR i'm testing this.
Following is the setup .

R1 - [ Gig0/2/0/0] <---> [Gig0/2]  <--->SW  <--->[ Gig 0/1] <--->
 ]Gig0/3/0/0] R2

R1
-----------
ethernet cfm
 domain TEST level 7
  service CUST down-meps
   continuity-check interval 10s
   efd
  !

interface GigabitEthernet0/2/0/0
 cdp
 ipv4 address 10.19.20.1 255.255.255.0
 ethernet cfm
mep domain TEST service CUST mep-id 101
  !

R2

---------

ethernet cfm
 domain TEST level 7
  service CUST down-meps
   continuity-check interval 10s
   efd
  !

interface GigabitEthernet0/3/0/0
 cdp
 ipv4 address 10.19.20.2 255.255.255.0
 ethernet cfm
mep domain TEST service CUST mep-id 101
  !
 !

When i shut down the Gig 0/1 on the switch its bringing down both relevant
Xr ports as expected.
But when i no shut the switch port both XR interfaces are showing as
protocol down not coming up until i remove the ethernet cfm configuration.

I'm new to CFM , hope i'm missing something. I need only EFD feature to
bring down the interface in actual scenario . Any pointers / help in this
regard .

Regards,
Gobinath.
