We're having a strange issue with our WS-X6748-SFP cards inserted in our
7609s. It's a similar issue to this:

Obviously 'SFP' is what is meant. Has anyone come across this? The thread
just sort of trails off without resolution, and I can't find anything else,
either in bug reports or on the internet.

Cisco TAC's solution was to reseat the cards, and then RMA them. That's
another story. We've reseated and RMA'ed the cards only to have the issue
reoccur with the new cards. My thought is to upgrade the units, as we are
now running 12.2(33)SRE2, and the latest release in this train
is 12.2(33)SRE8. From the above link, this issue seems to have been
around for a while, so I have to wonder if an upgrade will even help.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen this issue, and what may have been
done to resolve it, and what bug if any is associated.
