[c-nsp] SFP-GE-T "stuck" in 4500-X

I've found the small blade on my victorinox knife to be very effective at releasing sfps, and it has the advantage of being pretty thin along the length of it, so it's relatively easy to get under the optic.

I've never much liked the sfp form factor, and I don't like the LC connector, but you can't argue with density.

I've also got a small collection of sfps that are missing bits of their release arrangements.

Partially it's poorly designed sockets, but more often it's a design failure in making the release mechanism out of something that's simply too weak to ever manage to release it after being baked-in for a couple of years. Whoever thought a cast $rubbish-'metal' (or plastic) release on a GLC-T was a good idea needs their head examined.

I would use a flat-head mini-screwdriver (e.g. 2.0mm) to gently poke at the
release mechanism and caress it out. Do a couple of test runs on another
(e.g. asr) chassis to make sure you understand how the SFP release
mechanism works first. Don't strain anything because you can break these
things very easily.

/me looks sadly at a small selection of broken sfps in the bottom of his
toolbox, caused by getting stuck in badly fitting sockets :-(
