Wanted to see the multicast traffic counters incrementing/or not, on a specific port

What does "show multicast traffic" mean?

If you want to see the raw data packets, you'll need to use SPAN or R/ERSPAN.

If you want to see IGMP joins, "sh ip igmp" and sub-commands.

If you want to see output routes, "sh ip mroute" and sub-commands.

Be more specific!
