[c-nsp] new Cisco's NCS> ISP flagship router

To add to that:

The "pre -B" chassis can be upgraded to CRS-X and use the new LCs, but the new cards will only run 200G (half the interfaces will be powered down). The -B chassis has been default for a while and is the only thing shipping today.

I know the launch was pretty heavily IoT washed. I can help if anyone needs clarifications.

CRS-X (which is 400Gbps fabric and network processors) should start shipping December this year.

So if anyone is thinking of buying new CRS's, by the "B"
chassis, which is the CRS-X (enhanced) system. You can still run your 140Gbps (CRS-3) or 40Gbps (CRS-1) line cards and fabrics in the CRS-X so you only pay for what you need, and then look at the CRS-X line cards and fabrics in the future as you grow.

I've been waiting for Cisco to make the move from QNX to Linx for IOS XR for a while now. With the way things are looking at Blackberry, doubtful we'll get 64-bit support in QNX.

Mark.
