[c-nsp] Quick questions regarding CVR-X2-SFP10G on 6500

Hi there,

I've noticed that using the CVR-X2-SFP10G with a SFP-10G-LR is only officially supported on 12.2(33)SXJ1 and higher, even though the CVR-X2-SFP10G with a SFP-10G-SR is officially supported on SXI.

However, it does appear that using a CVR-X2-SFP10G in combination with a SFP-10G-LR "functions" on both 12.2(33)SXI3 and 12.2(33)SXI5.

Two questions:

1) Has anyone found any drawbacks using the CVR-X2-SFP10G + SFP-10G-LR on 12.2(33)SXI (aside from support)?
2) For the longest time the SXI train was the "recommended" train (at least for SUP720)... I'm sure many organizations have moved to IOS 15, but have those who haven't yet begun using SXJ?

We've found that the X2 LR modules actually run a lot hotter than the CVR-X2-SFP10G + SFP-10G-LR combinations, plus the SFP-10G-LR are actually useful in other systems/future proof, etc (which is why I am interested).

Thanks in advance.

-Drew
