Cisco has a new "hardened" line (the IE 2000 IP67)
which is designed to be a bit more resilient to the
environment and various surges/discharges etc.
But I have never used them myself, so one would
have to test them in ones own lab.  At least on
"paper" they look interesting for rugged location
deployment.
