The tricky things to consider are those that are tied to the
hardware, like QoS features, QoS application to interfaces,
LAG's, Netflow, e.t.c.

I'd go with current code.

IOS 12.2SRE or 15 are best for the 7200.

Be sure to run it on an NPE-G2, and on IOS 15.
