[c-nsp] mac 4000.3e11.xxxx anyone?

Hi folks,

Has anyone seen a mac addresses that starts with 4000.3e11.xxxx? 
Just got a weird issue reported where me3600-cx flooded a downstream switch with plethora of the above addresses on two VLANs. 
Unfortunately no one captured the mac table from CX itself so I don't know what the mac addresses type was STATIC/DYNAMIC/. and where they were coming from? Anyways this is just an EFP to a VLAN interface in VRF. 
Shut/ no shut of the VLAN interface helped.
