[c-nsp] LACP Trunk between Cisco VSS and Brocade MLX.

Harry,

Thanks for sharing, but I don't see Cisco 1/3/45 nor Cisco 1/3/46.

The Brocade side is showing disabled. Have you tried disabling the Brocade 3/19 and 3/20 and then re-enabling them one at a time?

Frank

Hi Frank,
Please find attached information requested.
I've tried disabling lacp rate fast no joy. The working half of the trunk has this command enabled.

Cisco ------1/3/45 ------MLX 3/19 non-working trunk
Cisco ------1/3/46 ------MLX 3/20

Cisco ------2/3/45--------MLX 8/19 working trunk.
Cisco ------2/3/46--------MLX 8/20

Thanks for sharing. Could you please share the Cisco interface configs (Po345 and each of the LAG members)?

Note that the Cisco is set to use fast while Brocade is set to use slow. I would start with setting them the same.

Frank

Hi James,
Yes good idea, please find attached configuration of Cisco & Brocade switches. Not much on the Brocade end see attached.
The ports with the error message LACP-BLOCKED are 3/19 & 3/20 on the Brocade end.

Config snippets would be useful.

yes, it's normally caused by misconfiguration. Both brocade netiron and
cisco IOS have mature 802.3ad/LACP implementations which interoperate nicely.
