There are limits and things missing that are only available on the big iron (However much better than things used to be. .. Because it's XE? ) . .. and the 2960X runs the lite version which is more of a curiosity that can be used for niche requirements

However it's not good to not know what the competitors can do.  We use such information to keep Cisco on their toes and to stop complacency. SDN capabilities for example.
