hi,
We are trying to deploy the Nexus 1000v to our VM environment but are coming across an issue we cannot seem to resolve.
We have deployed the 1000v (via template) and configured port-profiles, have managed to add the 1000v to vSphere 6
and established communications between the two. The issue we are having now is when we try and add VEMs to Hosts and
we are getting the following error
"The number of physical network adapters per host exceeds the number of uplink ports.”
This has also been raised on cisco forums https://communities.cisco.com/thread/58554
(vnic0 is currently assign to vmware vswitch, vnic1 is what the 1000v is bound to - when
alive we'll migrate hosts over and vnic0 will be assigned to the 1000v - this is all as per
the cisco documentation......)
Has anyone experienced this that might be able to shed some light on the issue?
