g'd morning guys,
we got a new core routing platform under evaluation, and cisco came here
obviously claiming that their NCS6K can do a real ISSU with zero packet and
topology loss.
digging into documentation i've found here:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/ncs6000/software/sys_man/configuration/guide/b_sysman-cg-ncs6k-50x/b_sysman_cg_ncs_chapter_01.html
it seems that FPGA's card upgrade isn't free of charge since it requires a
reload but all the described procedure does not mention traffic
loss/disruption.
any real-life experience before we perform internal lab test?
cheersssss!
