[c-nsp] span on me3600

Me3600 had 15.2 and span commands would type but were missing from config
and so apparently aren't supported.. (why do they have to fake me out like
that :/

 

I see span is supported in 15.3.. I put 15.4 on my me3600.

 

config'd the following..

 

monitor session 1 type local

source interface Gi0/19

destination interface Gi0/2

 

 

3600#sh monitor session all

If I'm sniffing port 19 and sending/mirroring that traffic to port 2
shouldn't I see both tx and rx ?  numbers below seem to show that only the
input traffic on port 19 is getting mirrored..

 

3600#sh int g0/19 | i 30 sec

  30 second input rate 8047000 bits/sec, 1603 packets/sec

  30 second output rate 28061000 bits/sec, 3329 packets/sec

3600#sh int g0/2 | i 30 sec

  30 second input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec

  30 second output rate 8992000 bits/sec, 1680 packets/sec

 

Any ideas?
