Hi All,
Thanks for the recommended so far. I just found this issue is also
happening to our IPv6 peer. This is even straight configuration.
- *route-map attached to peer*
RTR#sh bgp ipv6 unicast neighbors 2404:xxxx:3001:D::1 | in Route
Route refresh: advertised and received(new)
Route Refresh: 1 0
Route map for incoming advertisements is EQUINIX-TRANSIT-V6-IN
Route map for outgoing advertisements is EQUINIX-TRANSIT-V6-OUT
*- route-map rule*
RTR#sh route-map EQUINIX-TRANSIT-V6-OUT
route-map EQUINIX-TRANSIT-V6-OUT, permit, sequence 10
Match clauses:
ipv6 address prefix-list CP-V6-BLOCKS
Set clauses:
Policy routing matches: 0 packets, 0 bytes
*- prefix-list to match the route to advertise*
RTR#sh ipv6 prefix-list CP-V6-BLOCKS
ipv6 prefix-list CP-V6-BLOCKS: 1 entries
seq 10 permit 2402:xxxx::/32
*- bgp ipv6 table, update group 4 is not our peer we want here*
RTR#sh bgp ipv6 unicast 2402:xxxx::/32
BGP routing table entry for 2402:xxxx::/32, version 4908
Paths: (1 available, best #1, table Default)
Advertised to update-groups:
4
Local
:: from 0.0.0.0 (x.x.x.1)
Origin IGP, metric 0, localpref 100, weight 32768, valid, sourced,
local, best
*- v6 route match with route-map *
RTR#sh bgp ipv6 unicast route-map EQUINIX-TRANSIT-V6-OUT
BGP table version is 31743384, local router ID is x.x.x.1
Status codes: s suppressed, d damped, h history, * valid, > best, i -
internal,
r RIB-failure, S Stale
Origin codes: i - IGP, e - EGP, ? - incomplete
Network Next Hop Metric LocPrf Weight Path
*> 2402:xxxx::/32 :: 0 32768 i
*- but nothing advertise out !*
RTR#sh bgp ipv6 unicast neighbors 2404:xxxx:3001:D::1 advertised-routes
Total number of prefixes 0
Any idea is really appreciated...
