I'm the original poster. using a better mail address/client this time.
The router is default free.
The 2699 was an uRPF ACL we used for logging. We wanted to see what
traffic was dropped.
I was seeing odd drops and could not ping my public interfaces from certain
internet locations.
Removing urpf seemed to 'fix' it.
I'll reconfigure and test urpf. Sounds like it isn't my root issue.
