You can get manufacturer warranty on 3rd party transceivers - from the 
transceiver vendor.

Nick is right, equipment vendor transceivers are overpriced and not 
better quality, as well as offering a narrower choice of optics. It is 
(almost) always better to get reputable 3rd party transceivers which can 
be recoded for "compatibility".

But it's your choice, of course
